After the issuance of any license under this chapter, and prior to commencement of business thereunder, said licensee shall post such license in a conspicuous place in his place of business and shall keep it thus posted and displayed in the principal room in which such business is carried on. Any violation of this chapter by a duly authorized agent or employee of a licensee shall be deemed and shall constitute a violation of the licensee.
