At the city council's direction upon the failure, neglect or refusal of any controller so notified to remove the public nuisance as herein defined within the time specified in section 12.36.525 of this chapter, the parks director or his designee shall proceed with the work specified in the notice. The cost of the work shall be transmitted to the city council who shall cause the same to be paid and levy a special assessment against the property. (Ord. 2143 §28, 1988: Ord. 1878 §1(part), 1985)
