A. It is made the duty of the city engineer or engineer's designee, whenever he or she deems it necessary:
1. To require property owners within the corporate limits to construct permanent concrete sidewalks upon streets abutting their property; and
2. To require all property owners within the municipality to repair all sidewalks on streets abutting their property.
B. All sidewalks shall be constructed or repaired in strict accordance with city standard drawings and engineering specifications and the current Americans with disabilities act accessibility guidelines (ADAAG). (Ord. 3272 §1, 2006)
