§ 33.26 AUTHORITY TO ACTIVATE AUXILIARY.
   The Auxiliary Police Division members may be called to active duty en masse or individually on the authority of the Chief of Police and Town Manager. The Chief of Police may designate certain certified Auxiliary members as “on call”. When so designated these members shall be equipped and ready to render assistance to the regular officer(s) on duty whenever required. A member designated on call shall be considered on active duty at all times, whether in uniform or not.
