§ 33.24 DUTIES.
   The duties of the Auxiliary Police Division members shall be to assist the regular officers of the Police Department in the enforcement of law and the maintenance of peace and order when called to active duty. The Chief of Police shall fix the specific duties of the Auxiliary and shall provide for the maintenance of discipline. No member of the Auxiliary Police Division who has not been certified and authorized shall enforce, nor attempt to enforce, any law except when immediately accompanied by a regular officer or a designated certified Auxiliary member.
