The Chief of the Coats-Grove Fire and Rescue Department (formerly known as Grove Rural Fire Department) shall be the authorized public official to administer the ordinances of the town relating to fire prevention and protection. Whenever the words, “Chief”, “Fire Chief” or “Chief of the “Fire Department” shall appear in the ordinance of the town, the same shall hereafter mean the Chief of the Coats-Grove Fire and Rescue, Inc. Department.
