(A) Exemption for municipally owned or leased golf carts and municipal employees. Golf carts owned or leased by the town are exempt from the above provisions of this chapter, and may be operated on public streets, roads or highways within the town limits and on any property owned or leased by the town for purposes of conducting official town business.
(B) Municipal employees age 16 or older. Municipal employees age 16 years or older are likewise exempt from the above provisions of this chapter and may operate a golf cart owned or leased by the town as defined by the chapter on public streets, roads or highways within the town limits and on any property owned or leased by the town for purposes of conducting official town business.
