§ 70.31 AUTHORITY TO ESTABLISH CERTAIN STREETS AS NO THROUGH TRAFFIC TO CERTAIN TRUCKS.
   (A)   The Board shall have authority to declare any street or part thereof a street for which through traffic to trucks shall not be allowed and to place appropriate signs or devices in the roadway indicating that drivers of trucks should not enter the streets for the purpose of general traffic through the area.
   (B)   (1)   Whenever authorized signs are erected indicating any street or part thereof as a no through traffic to trucks, no person shall drive a truck with weight of more than 19 tons upon any street or portion thereof except drivers of trucks having business or whose residences are within the closed area, and then any such driver shall exercise the greatest care when driving upon any street or portion thereof.
      (2)   Streets signs may spell the word “through” as follows: “thru”.
   (C)   The designation by the Board of any street or portion thereof as being a no through (thru) traffic to trucks street, then the Board shall enumerate those streets or portions thereof and describe the same in Chapter 75, Schedule VII.
