1129.04 RESPONSIBILITIES OF COUNCIL.

   (a)    Council shall:

(1)    Appoint five members to the Planning Commission in accordance with the Charter, Article VII, Section 7-1;

(2)    Appoint five members to the Board of Zoning Appeals in accordance with the Charter, Article VII, Section 7-4;

(3)    Act upon amendments as they are transmitted to Council;

(4)    Approve, approve with modifications, or disapprove Planned Unit Site Development Plans;

(5)    Decide on appeals from the Board of Zoning Appeals; and

(6)    Establish fee schedules for the required permits, certificates, etc.

   (b)    Council may:

(1)    Initiate amendments to the Zoning Ordinance; and

(2)    Institute injunction, mandamus, abatement, or any other appropriate actions or proceedings to prevent, enjoin, abate, or remove the unlawful location, erection, construction, reconstruction, enlargement, change, maintenance, or use.
