§ 153.022  C-2 - HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL.
   (A)   Description of District. This District is composed of certain lands of the city used primarily to provide convenience goods and a wide range of highway-oriented activities. The main source of traffic is from automobile traffic. Neighborhood or community shopping centers comprise this type of use.
   (B)   Permitted uses. Permitted use are as follows:
      (1)   Shopping center or malls;
      (2)   Retail sales;
      (3)   Wholesale sales;
      (4)   Professional offices;
      (5)   Personal service establishments;
      (6)   Churches;
      (7)   Schools;
      (8)   Cemeteries;
      (9)   All uses which are “permitted uses” within R-1, R-2, R-3, and C-1 Districts; and
      (10)   Hobby activities.
   (C)   Accessory uses. The following are permitted accessory uses:
      (1)   Parking lots or structures; and
      (2)   Accessory buildings.
   (D)   Conditional uses. The following are permitted conditional uses:
      (1)   Junkyards;
      (2)   Drive-in theaters;
      (3)   Mobile homes on individual lots; and
      (4)   Other uses deemed compatible with the district by the Planning and Zoning Commission and Board of Adjustments.
   (E)   Dimensional regulations. See the Appendix following this chapter.
   (F)   Parking regulations. See §§ 153.070 through 153.073 of this chapter.
