BUILDING NUMBERING

10-9-1 Building Numbering Map 10-9-3 Violations 10-9-2 Property Owner Requirements 10-9-1 BUILDING NUMBERING MAP.

   The Community Development Director shall be responsible for preparing a building numbering map. A unique building address shall be assigned for every principal residential building and every occupiable commercial building.

10-9-2 PROPERTY OWNER REQUIREMENTS.

   Every owner shall comply with the following requirements:

   1.   Display Number. The property owner shall place or cause to be installed, prior to the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy, and maintained on the principal residential building or occupiable commercial building, the assigned number in a conspicuous place visible to the street in figures not less than four inches in height and of a contrasting color with their background.

   2.   Failure to Comply. If an owner refuses to install or maintain the building number as herein provided, or fails to do so for a period of 30 days following written notice, the City may proceed to install the assigned building number on the principal residential building or occupiable commercial building and assess the costs against the property for collection in the same manner as a property tax.
