This chapter shall govern the organization and operation of the municipal court of the city, as put into operation by resolution duly passed on January 21, 1969, and filed in accordance with law. To the extent of conflict between any provisions of this chapter and the provisions of any other ordinance of the city, the provisions of this chapter shall control. Such court shall be operative on and after February 12, 1969. (1991 Code § 12-1)
