A. Administration: The procedures set out in this chapter shall be administered by regularly salaried, full time employees of the city; except, the removal of a junked automobile, or part thereof, from property may be by any person authorized by the city. (1991 Code § 13-72)
B. Enforcement: Any employee of the police department or other persons authorized by the police department (with regard to removal) may enter private property for the purposes specified in the procedures in this chapter to examine an automobile or automobile parts, obtain information as to the identity of the automobile, and remove or cause the removal of a junked automobile, or part thereof, located in a place where it is visible from a public place or public right of way. The municipal court may issue orders necessary to enforce such procedures. (1991 Code § 13-73)
