Each peddler shall:
A. Apply with the city clerk for a permit and provide the name, permanent and local address, date of birth and business purpose, which permit shall be valid for a period of time not to exceed twenty four (24) hours;
B. Submit to fingerprinting;
C. Advise the city clerk of the nature of the solicitation, the neighborhoods to be canvassed and the time frame covering the solicitations;
D. Pay registration fee of seventy five dollars ($75.00);
E. Carry permit on all sales calls;
F. Advise the city clerk of the neighborhood to be solicited each week if peddler intends to solicit for greater than one week; and
G. Only solicit between the hours of eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. and nine o'clock (9:00) P.M. unless an appointment is scheduled for other hours with the homeowner. (Ord. 978, 3-21-2017)
