(A) Whenever an owner damages or removes a sidewalk and/or curb, as the result of construction or other reasons he or she shall immediately replace same with the same material and return to the original size.
(B) Alternate materials may be used only if the owner or his or her designee applies in writing to the Board of Works and the Board of Works by resolution approves the replacement of the sidewalk and/or curb with alternate materials.
