§ 52.16 DISTURBING WATER METERS.
   (A)   No person other than the Waterworks Superintendent, or a person designated by him or her, may disturb, damage, alter, adjust or otherwise affect any water meter of the city.
   (B)   No person shall park a motor vehicle over a water meter lid or otherwise obstruct Water Department personnel from accessing a water meter.
   (C)   Violators of this section shall be subject to fines set forth in § 52.99(D), and shall also be responsible for all costs to repair or replace a damaged meter, meter pit or meter lid.
   (D)   In addition to a fine, the city may have any vehicle or other obstruction to a water meter removed, with the costs of removal being accessed against the owner.
