10-3-4: DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS:
   (A)   Multi-family, commercial and industrial developments proposed within areas subject to flooding will not be allowed, as noted in subsections 10-1-3(B) through (D) of this title.
   (B)   An adequate system of storm water drainage shall be provided to collect and carry the flow of surface water runoff to a suitable outlet. The storm water system shall consist of pipes, tiles, manholes, inlets, catch basins or other necessary facilities that will adequately drain the development, protect adjacent roadway pavements, and prevent the accumulation of storm water at any place under normal conditions. Concentrated flow of surface water crossing sidewalks will not be allowed.
   (C)   Proposed drainage systems shall be subject to approval by the superintendent of public works.
   (D)   Storm water drainage and detention/soil erosion and storm water management should be designed per city regulations. (Ord. 868, 11-19-2001)
