(A) Eagle Point Park. The possession, use and consumption of alcoholic beverages, including beer and wine, is hereby prohibited in Eagle Point Park between the hours of sunset and 11:00 a.m. except as allowed by special permit from the Parks and Recreation Department. A person who violates this section is subject to any and all penalties set forth in § 10.99 of this code.
(B) All other city parks and city-owned property. The possession, use and consumption of alcoholic beverages, including beer and wine, is hereby prohibited in any other city parks including but not limited to Chancy Park, Clinton Park, Hawthorne Park, DeWitt Park, Four Square Park, Riverview Park, or any and all other city areas delineated as parks by signage or other indicia, Joyce's Island and Willow Island and the land between the islands in the city; and all other city property between the hours of sunset and 11:00 a.m. except as allowed by special permit from the Parks and Recreation Department or other duly authorized city official, and except on licensed and leased premises as set forth in § 96.07 of this chapter.
(C) General alcohol restrictions. Except where specifically authorized by city permit for a particular event or pursuant to a validly obtained alcohol service license in connection with such an event, no alcohol other than beverages defined in state law as beer and wine may be consumed in city parks, and only within the specified hours set forth in this chapter. Alcohol must be consumed in its original container. No beer or wine may be consumed or distributed from containers larger than 32 ounces, except where larger containers are specifically authorized by city permit for a particular event. Beverages shall not be consumed from glass containers in city parks.
