§ 34.37 FIRE INSPECTOR DESIGNATED.

The Fire Chief shall appoint and designate the Fire Marshal of the Fire Department as a Fire Inspector. If certified by the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy, the Fire Marshal shall have full powers of arrest to effectuate the primary duty of enforcing this code of ordinances and state statutes relating to fire prevention and arson.
