No person shall operate any motor bus over a designated route or on a fixed schedule within the city without first obtaining a permit so to do from the City Clerk. Such permit shall be applied for and issued in the same manner as provided in § 117.02, relating to a permit to conduct a taxicab business, and the applicant shall be subject to all of the provisions of § 117.02. Each such permit shall expire 12 months from the date of issuance.
