(A) The Chief of the Fire Prevention Bureau or Fire Marshal is authorized to suspend or revoke the license of any licensee who has violated any provisions of this chapter or has failed to obtain the approved practices of the National Fire Protection Association. Revocation of a license shall automatically forfeit the bond provided for in this chapter.
(B) In the event the Chief of the Fire Prevention Bureau or Fire Marshal revokes or suspends the license of any licensee or refuses approval to an applicant for license, such person shall have the right to appeal to the City Council by filing such appeal in writing within 15 days after such revocation, suspension or refusal. A hearing on such appeal shall be heard by the City Council within 30 days from the filing of the appeal with the City Council.
