(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to hold or conduct any public dance within the limits of the city unless a permit shall have been first obtained for such public dance or the dance hall where same may be held for such purposes.
(B) It shall be unlawful for any person to dance at any public dance or dance hall except a public dance or dance hall for which a permit has been issued under this subchapter. This division (B) shall not apply to any entertainer performing any sort of entertainment at a public gathering.
