(A) The city shall make provision for ambulance service for the City of Cleburne.
(B) In addition to any ambulance service that is provided by the Cleburne Fire Department, the city may contract all or part of the ambulance service for the city to a state licensed ambulance provider for the provision of emergency and non-emergency ambulance service within the city. The contracted ambulance provider must meet the permitting requirements of this chapter.
