§ 103.015 FUNERAL CORTEGE RIGHT-OF-WAY.
   (A)   Unless otherwise directed by a law enforcement officer, the operator of a funeral escort vehicle may escort all properly identified vehicles in a funeral cortege through stop signs or signalized intersections without stopping, but the drivers of such motor vehicles shall exercise due regard for the safety of all approaching vehicles. The operator of a funeral escort vehicle shall not stop traffic approaching from the opposite direction or direct such traffic off the roadway, except at intersections or at other locations necessary to assist the funeral cortege in making left turns.
   (B)   It shall be a violation of this chapter for any person to disobey or disregard the direction of an operator of a funeral escort vehicle when escorting a funeral cortege, or for any person to fail to yield right-of-way to any vehicle properly identified as a part of a funeral cortege.
