(A) All private funeral escort vehicles, while actively operating as an escort for a funeral cortege, shall be equipped with at least:
(1) One white or clear lighted lamp that displays a light under normal atmospheric conditions for a distance of 500 feet from the front of the vehicle; and
(2) One purple, red, blue, or amber lighted lamp that displays a light under normal atmospheric conditions for a distance of 500 feet from the front of the vehicle.
(B) The Chief or his designee shall inspect all private funeral escort vehicles yearly at a time and place that the Chief designates.
