For the purpose of this chapter, the following terms, phrases, words and their derivations shall have the meaning given herein:
AMPLIFIED SOUND. Any sound projected or transmitted by artificial means, including but not limited to, amplifiers, loudspeakers or any other similar devices.
CITY. The City of Cleburne, Texas.
CLEBURNE CONFERENCE CENTER MANAGER. That individual charged with the responsibilities of overseeing the maintenance, care and scheduling of events of the Cleburne Conference Center.
CONFERENCE CENTER MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT. Management agreement assigns administration, reservations, and day-to-day operations of the conference center to an organization approved by Council. This agreement is administered by the City Manager or his designee.
DEPARTMENT. The Conference Center department.
DIRECTOR. The Community Services Director.
PARKING AREA. Any designated portion of land surrounding the Cleburne Conference Center or senior citizens center.
PERSON. Any person, firm, partnership, association, corporation, company or organization of any kind.
RESERVATION. An executed contract from the Cleburne Conference Center manager gaining permission to carry out a given activity on a specific date in a specific facility.
SENIOR CITIZENS ADVISORY BOARD SPONSORED ACTIVITY. Any activity, held at the Senior Citizens Center, sponsored by the Senior Citizens Advisory Board.
SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER. The structure designated for senior citizen activities.
VEHICLE. Any wheeled device of conveyance, propelled by motor or engine. The term shall include any trailer of any kind, size or description. Exception is made for any city-owned vehicle.
