The Administrator and the City Attorney are authorized and encouraged to cooperate with the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, pursuant to the provisions of Title VIII, Fair Housing Act of 1988, being 42 USC 3601 et seq., and may render such service to the Secretary as they shall deem appropriate to further the policies of this chapter and may accept reimbursement from the Secretary for services rendered to assist him in carrying out the provisions of the above-cited federal law.
