It shall be unlawful for any person to erect, construct, repair, enlarge or place in or upon any block or lot, or part thereof, within the established fire limits, any structure or building other than such that conforms to the requirements of type IIA construction. The type IIA construction is a minimum requirement for all occupancies. The building code may require a higher construction classification type for certain occupancies.
