(A) The Fire Chief shall define functional sections within the Emergency Services Division and assign supervision responsibilities to the Executive Assistant Chief and the Assistant Chief of Operations as necessary.
(B) The Emergency Services Division shall perform all fire control operations, emergency medical services, rescue operations, hazardous materials operations and other duties as assigned by the Fire Chief.
(C) Every member assigned to the Emergency Services Division shall satisfactorily complete the training and certification requirements as established by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection Standards for Fire Protection Personnel for a firefighter. Every member of the Emergency Services Division shall have firefighting as one of his or her primary duties.
