(A) No person shall in any cemetery do or cause to be done any of the following without first obtaining permission from the city:
(1) Capture, attempt to capture, hunt, molest, injure, trap, or administer or set out any trap or harmful substance for any wild or domestic animal, reptile, bird, or fish, nor remove or have in his possession the young, eggs, or nest of any animal, reptile or bird, except as set out in subsections (2) and (3) below.
(2) Any person may kill on sight a reptile known to be deadly or poisonous.
(3) City animal warden, cemetery personnel or peace officer may capture animals at large within their official scope of duties.
(4) Maintenance personnel may dispense pesticides for the control of insects in accordance with state law.
(B) All persons are forbidden to hunt, to fish or to feed or disturb the fish, fowl or other animals about the cemeteries.
(C) No money shall be paid by a public individual to any maintenance employee for any service he or she may render to the public individual. The entire time of persons regularly employed by the city belongs to the city. Visitors and space owners shall refrain from engaging them to do work on spaces or lots. All orders, inquiries or complaints shall be left at the cemetery office or with the Community Services Manager’s office.
(D) No cross-curbing of lots or covering lots with concrete or any other ornamental material shall be permitted.
(E) Due to the city's obligation to maintain the cemetery lawns throughout the grass-growing season, digging holes in the ground or placing of rods or brackets to support top heavy pots and containers at places of interment is not permitted. Such items create a danger of bodily injury to maintenance personnel and any other person present, and can cause possible damage to maintenance equipment while maintenance is being performed.
(F) No person shall, in any cemetery, do or cause to be done any of the following without first obtaining permission from the Community Services Division Director or designee:
(1) Mark, deface, injure, displace, remove, or tamper with any cemetery property, structures or any grounds.
(2) Construct or erect any building or structure of any kind, whether permanent or temporary.
