§ 154.085 STREET NAME AND TRAFFIC SIGNS.
   (A)   General requirement. Street name signs and traffic control signs shall be required for all street intersections in accordance with the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. Street signs shall be furnished and installed by the developer at the time of other public infrastructure for all intersections within or abutting the subdivision.
   (B)   Standards. All signs shall conform to the standards as set forth in the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. All road identification signs are to have a green background with white reflective lettering.
   (C)   Installation. The sign pole shall be buried to a minimum depth of two feet and placed in a 12-inch diameter concrete filled posthole. The pole shall be tall enough to accommodate all applicable signs.
   (D)   Approval. The developer shall submit a signage plan designed by a licensed professional engineer in conjunction with the civil construction plans for review by Director of Public Works prior to installation.
   (E)   Custom signs. The Director of Public Works may approve custom-made street signs and custom-made sign poles, provided the city has executed a written agreement with a party responsible for the maintenance and replacement of such signs or sign poles.
