§ 32.28 RIGHT-OF-WAY MUST NOT BE OBSTRUCTED.
   (A)   All fire and police apparatus shall have the right-of-way upon any street, avenue or highway when responding to any fire alarm. Upon the approach of any Police or Fire Department vehicle giving audible signal by bell or siren, the driver of every other vehicle shall immediately drive the same to a position as near as possible to the right-hand edge or curb of the highway or street, clear of any intersection of highway or streets, and shall stop and remain in that position unless otherwise directed by a police or traffic officer or until the Police or Fire Department vehicle shall have passed.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for the driver of any vehicle other than one on official business to follow any fire apparatus traveling in response to a fire alarm closer than 2 city blocks or to drive into or park the vehicle within 2 city blocks of the block where fire apparatus has stopped in answer to a fire alarm.
   (C)   Any person who shall negligently or willfully obstruct, interfere with or intercept the right-of-way of fire apparatus of any Fire Department vehicle responding to a fire alarm, or any person violating any of the provisions of divisions (A) and (B) above, shall be subject to the provisions of § 32.99.
