(A) It shall be unlawful for any person, persons, firm, co-partnership or corporation, to place, hang or swing, upon or over any sidewalk in the town, any awning, sign, sign-board, plank, rod or other attachment, device or structure, unless the same or all parts thereof shall be 6-1/2 feet above the surface of the sidewalk.
(B) Any and all awnings, signs, sign-boards or other attachment, device or structure or any portion thereof, now hanging or constructed, which shall, at any time, be nearer than 6-1/2 feet from the surface of the sidewalk, are hereby declared obstructions of the sidewalk, and shall be immediately removed or raised upon notice from the Town Marshal.
(C) It shall be unlawful for any person, persons, firm, co-partnership or corporation to place, stack or pile upon the sidewalks or streets in the town, any boxes, barrels, groceries, dry goods, hay, grain, implements, machinery or any other things which constitute obstructions to the sidewalks or streets, and the sidewalks and streets shall at all times be kept free from obstructions of every kind; provided, however, that nothing herein shall be so construed as to prohibit merchants or other business persons, firms, co-partnerships or corporations from temporarily using the sidewalks or streets in loading or unloading merchandise.
