(A) Zoning Districts. The boundaries of the zoning districts, including but not limited to Conventional Districts, Conditional Zoning Districts (some of which are formerly approved Special Use Districts), and Overlay Districts, are shown upon the map accompanying this chapter, and made a part hereof, entitled “Town of Clayton Official Zoning Map” (also known as “zoning map”), as amended from time to time. The zoning map and all the notations, references and all amendments thereto, and other information shown thereon is hereby made a part of this Chapter the same as if such information set forth on the map were all fully described and set out herein. The most current and updated version of the Official Zoning Map properly attested is maintained by the Planning Department, and is on file in the Planning Department and the Office of the Town Clerk, and is available for inspection by the public. When duly adopted by the Town Council, these regulations shall also govern each and every subdivision of land within the corporate limits of the Town, as now or hereafter established, and within the extraterritorial jurisdiction adopted by the Town.
(B) Future Land Use Districts. Certain Future Land Use Designations are established and incorporated by reference on the “Town of Clayton Future Land Use Map” (as part of the most current adopted comprehensive plan and also known as “future land use map”), which is hereby made a portion of this ordinance. The Future Land Use Map shall guide and govern changes to the Official Zoning Map and the districts therein. The most current and updated version of the Future Land Use Map properly attested is maintained by the Planning Department, and is on file in the Planning Department and the Office of the Town Clerk, and is available for inspection by the public.
(C) Other Maps and Ordinances. The most recent officially adopted version of other maps adopted by the state or federal government, including regulatory language, as necessary to accomplish the purpose of this UDC, are hereby incorporated by reference. This includes but is not limited to maps of floodplains, soils, watersheds, water supply protection areas, and United States Geological Survey (USGS) maps depicting streams or other water courses.
