It shall be unlawful for any owner or occupant of any land or lot located within the jurisdiction of the town to permit weeds, as defined in § 97.01, to grow to a height of 12 inches, or to allow any debris to remain upon the property, or to remain upon any portion of the sidewalk, street, or area between the property line of the land and the curb of the street adjacent to the land, or to remain between the property line and the middle of any alley adjacent to the property, or within any public right-of-way abutting said property. All subdivided lots shall be kept clear of uncontrolled growth of vines and brush and all fallen leaves, straw, and limbs on such lots shall be properly disposed of on a seasonal basis.
