§ 32.040 ESTABLISHMENT AND DUTIES OF FIRE CHIEF.
   (A)   Establishment. The Chief of the Fire Department shall be appointed by the Town Manager and shall be subjected to the supervision of the Town Manager.
   (B)   Duties. It shall be the duty of the Chief of the Fire Department to:
      (1)   Supervise and direct the extinguishing of fires.
      (2)   Preserve, maintain, and account for all equipment of the Fire Department.
      (3)   Enforce all rules and ordinances relative to fire prevention.
      (4)   Inspect all premises for compliance with applicable codes.
      (5)   Perform such other duties as may be assigned to him by the Town Manager, as a provision of this Code, other ordinances of the town or state law.
