§ 50.15 WATER AND SEWER TAP REPLACEMENTS.
   (A)   Costs associated with relocation or replacement of water and/or sewer service taps shall be borne by the customer receiving service in accordance with the fee schedule adopted by the town for such improvements.
   (B)   Exceptions. The only exceptions to the above requirement shall be made by the Public Works Director and shall be based on the criteria contained herein. Exceptions to this policy shall be limited based on budgetary allocation and manpower availability.
      (1)   In cases where replacement of a service tap would tend to reduce the maintenance or service call burden of the town as evidenced by at least two service calls during the preceding 12 months, an exception may be granted.
      (2)   In cases where a service tap crosses private property not under the ownership of the customer and without clear easement for maintenance and access, an exception may be granted.
