A special non-reverting fund is hereby established for the purpose of receiving and holding fees charged by the Clarksville Police Department for towed vehicles, for training programs, for providing copies of law enforcement recordings (as defined by the Indiana Access to Public Records Act), and for providing fingerprinting services (for other than law enforcement purposes). This fund shall be named “Clarksville Police Department Towed Vehicles Non-Reverting Fund.” Hereafter, the Clerk-Treasurer shall not deposit money received by the Clarksville Police Department as fees charged for towed vehicles or for training programs or for providing law enforcement recordings (as defined by the Indiana Access to Public Records Act) or for providing fingerprinting services (other than law enforcement purposes) into the town’s General Fund, but shall deposit those funds into the non-reverting fund.
