(A) Established. A local Police Continuing Education Fund is established to receive any monies claimed by the town Police Department from the local Law Enforcement Continuing Education Fund.
(B) Deposits. The optional deposit of $.125 each into the operating budget of the Court Clerk and the Clerk-Treasurer of the town from the $3 fee collected by the Court pursuant to statute on each applicable case is waived, and the entire $3 fee collected by the Court on each applicable case is to be deposited into the local Law Enforcement Continuing Education Fund.
(C) Disbursements. Expenditures from the local Police Continuing Education Fund may be made for any purpose authorized by statute; however, provided that a prior appropriation shall have been obtained for any disbursements from the fund, and a claim submitted and processed as prescribed by law.
