§ 33.15 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION.
   (A)   There is hereby created an Economic Development Commission to be known as the Clarksville Economic Development Commission.
   (B)   The Economic Development Commission shall consist of three members.
      (1)   The Town Council President shall appoint one member of the Economic Development Commission who shall serve a term of three years.
      (2)   The Town Council shall nominate one member of the Economic Development Commission who shall serve a term of two years.
      (3)   The Clark County Council shall nominate one member of the Economic Development Commission who shall serve a term of one year.
   (C)   After the adoption of this subchapter, the Clerk-Treasurer shall promptly notify the executives and fiscal bodies required to make selections and nominations pursuant to this subchapter.
   (D)   Those required to make selections and nominations shall do so within 15 days after receiving notice.
   (E)   Each selectee and nominee shall be appointed by the President of the Clarksville Town Council within ten days after receiving the nomination.
   (F)   At the expiration of the respective terms of each of the original economic development commissioners, their respective successors shall be selected and nominated, before the expiration of the term, in the same manner as the original commissioner, and each succeeding commissioner shall serve for a term of four years. A commissioner shall hold over after the expiration of the commissioner’s term until the commissioner’s successor is appointed and has qualified.
