§ 111.06 PLUMBING REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
   (A)   Unless excepted under division (B) below, it shall be unlawful for any plumbing contractor, journeyman plumber, or apprentice plumber, as defined in IC 25-28.5-1-2 to operate or engage in the business of plumbing within this Town of Clarksville without first registering with the town as permitted by IC 25-28.5-1-33.
   (B)   No plumbing registration shall be required for persons excepted from the application of the State of Indiana plumbing licensing requirements as set forth in IC 25-28.5-1-32. An owner occupant claiming an exception under IC 25-28.5-1-32(5) must complete of a homeowner’s plumbing affidavit on the form prescribed by the Building Commissioner.
   (C)   In accordance with IC 25-28.5-1-33, if a licensed plumbing contractor fails to register with the Town of Clarksville, the Building Commissioner shall certify to the Indiana Plumbing Commission the licensed plumbing contractor’s failure to certify with the Town of Clarksville as required by this chapter.
