Owners are required to notify town wastewater whenever there is a relocation or major repair of their private service connections. This work must meet standards set forth in the town's Sanitary Sewer Construction Details. A permit and inspection is required upon completion of this work. There is a $75 inspection fee required to be paid at the Wastewater Billing Office before any work is completed. The property owner or contractor is required to notify the town no less than 48 hours for an inspection. If the owner is not prepared for the inspection when it is scheduled or the work does not meet town specifications, a $50 reinspection fee will be charged.
