(A) All supervisors, directors and chiefs of the town's Fire Department, Police Department, Public Works Department, Utilities Department, Planning Department, Redevelopment Department, Human Resources Department, Building Department and their assistant department heads appointed at the Town Council meeting on January 3, 2019 are hereby confirmed subject to the provisions of this section.
(B) The Town Manager is hereby authorized to and shall have the authority to remove, substitute, and appoint department supervisors, superintendents, and chiefs and assistant supervisors, superintendents, and chiefs for the Fire Department (as allowed by law), the Police Department (as allowed by law), the Public Works Department, the Utilities Department, the Planning Department, the Building Department, the Redevelopment Department, the Human Resources Department, the Parks and Recreation Department, and the Communications Director.
(C) Prior to any change in a department head or assistant department head, the Town Manager shall consult with the Town Council in executive session.
