(A) A fund is hereby established titled Confiscated Police Money Clearing Fund. The Fund is established for the sole purpose of converting cash and cash equivalents that have been seized by the Police Department during the course of investigation of crimes into a check that will be held in escrow by a court or other agency.
(B) Withdrawal of funds from this account shall be made without appropriation of the funds by the Town Council.
(C) The Clerk-Treasurer is responsible for auditing this Fund.
