§ 36.275 TOWN VEHICLE REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE FUND.
   (A)   There is hereby established an internal service fund designated as the Town Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Fund.
   (B)   The Town Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Fund, which shall be used to advance amounts invoiced by vendors of parts, suppliers, or materials for repairs by the Street Department garage to town owned vehicles, shall be funded by an initial transfer of unappropriated funds in the General Fund in the amount of $5,000 and shall be subsequently funded by periodic transfers of funds from the various departments that use the Street Department’s garage for repairs and maintenance.
   (C)   When the Street Department receives an invoice from a vendor for parts, supplies or materials for repair or maintenance to any town owned vehicle, the Street Department shall forward the invoice to the Town Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Fund for payment. Payments from the Town Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Fund shall be made without appropriation. A copy of the invoice shall be forwarded to the Department whose vehicle was repaired or maintained.
   (D)   Upon receipt of the invoice, the Clerk-Treasurer’s office shall transfer a sufficient amount from the department whose vehicle was repaired or maintained into the Town Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Fund at such times, in such amounts, and charge the respective department funds and appropriations as deemed necessary and proper by the Clerk-Treasurer, and these reimbursements shall be granted pre-approved expenditure status.
   (E)   The Clerk-Treasurer is authorized to require the implementation of any additional procedures in connection with the administration of the Town Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Fund as may be deemed necessary.
