§ 32.06 LAKE DEPARTMENT.
   (A)   The City Lake Department shall consist of a Superintendent and an Assistant Superintendent, and such additional employees as may be hired from time to time by the City Manager. The City Lake Department and its officers, agents, and employees shall have supervisory control and charge of the city lake and premises, and shall be charged with the duties of seeing that the rules and regulations pertaining to the lake and premises are adhered to by the general public. However, all matters pertaining to the city lake as a water supply for the city shall be under the direct control and supervision of the Light and Water Department of the city.
   (B)   The Lake Department personnel shall be and hereby are granted powers as special lake law enforcement officers and vested with the authority and responsibility of enforcement of lake regulations and city ordinances on the lake and on city owned or controlled property surrounding the lake with full power to make arrests for the violations of any such regulations or ordinances occurring on the lake or said city owned or controlled property surrounding same. Lake personnel shall not be considered police officers for any other purposes under this code than are expressly set forth in this section.
