§ 32.01 LIGHT AND WATER DEPARTMENT.
   The Light and Water Department of the city shall consist of a Superintendent of the Light and Water Department who shall be the business agent of the city in charge of such department. Before entering upon the duties of that office, the Superintendent shall enter into a bond conditioned for the faithful performance of his duties in such amount as may be required by the City Manager. In addition to the Superintendent, the department shall consist of a cashier and an assistant cashier, each of whom shall give bond in such amount as may be required by the City Manager, and an engineer, linemen, clerical help, and such other employees as may be authorized by the City Manager from time to time. The Light and Water Department and its officers, agents, and employees shall have supervision of the light and water utilities of the city and of the sewage disposal system of the city, and shall be charged with the maintenance and operation thereof, and shall perform such other duties as are now or may hereafter be prescribed by the City Manager.
