§ 102.03 STREET OR PARK TREE SPECIES NOT TO BE PLANTED.
   (A)   The following species of trees shall not be planted in the street right-of-way, parks or where such trees will injure sewers or drains of the city:
      (1)   Aspen;
      (2)   Black Locust;
      (3)   Box Elder;
      (4)   Catalpa;
      (5)   Chinese Elm (except Lacebark);
      (6)   Cottonwood (female);
      (7)   Fruit trees (except fruitless);
      (8)   Osage Orange (female);
      (9)   Popular;
          (10)   Silver Maple;
          (11)   Tree of Heaven (Allanthus);
          (12)   Willow; or
          (13)   Eastern Red Cedar.
   (B)   Parkway trees shall be balled and burlapped or container grown and shall have a minimum trunk diameter of one and three fourths inches to two and one half inches (measured at six inches above the ground). The trees will be #1 grade stock. All trees shall be tagged and identified as to species, size and place of origin. Such tags shall not be removed prior to inspection.
