No regulating or measuring equipment, or other property or equipment owned by the city, wherever situated, whether upon customers’ premises or elsewhere, shall be tampered with or interfered with for the purpose of adjustment, fraudulent adjustment or otherwise. In the event the city’s electrical equipment has been tampered with, the city will follow the procedures for unauthorized use of electricity as outlined in § 50.16.
