Each residential and each commercial customer shall pay a monthly fee for solid waste collection and disposal services regardless of whether or not any solid waste is collected at the customer’s location during the month. Each individual utility account shall serve as a separate location unless the locations are served under the same single point meter. In cases where service is located on a roadway that is privately owned and not maintained by the city; the property owner may request (by written correspondence) that the city utilize rear-loading refuse trucks to collect the refuse on their privately- maintained streets for an additional cost for each account serviced in this manner. Such approval shall be at the discretion of the Sanitation Superintendent. Customers shall pay for collection services under this chapter as follows:
(A) Residential service, per month (one collection per week):
(1) First 95-gallon poly-cart — $14;
(2) Each additional poly-cart, with approval — $6; and
(3) Senior rate (age 62 and over or 100% disabled, as determined by the Social Security Administration or U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs) – $12 for first 95-gallon poly-cart.
(B) Commercial service, per month:
(1) Poly-cart (two collections per week):
(a) One 95-gallon poly-cart — $28;
(b) Each additional 95-gallon poly-cart, with approval — $10;
(2) Two-cubic yard dumpster per month:
(See Schedule 1 below). Plus each additional pickup – $25 per dumpster.
(3) Three-cubic yard dumpster per month: (See Schedule 2 below). Plus each additional pickup – $25 per dumpster.
(C) Roll-off service: hospital
16 yard roll-off container per month — $1,400; Each additional roll-off – $175 per month.
